Most of the national institutions have specialist shops inside and the National Gallery has a range of art books.

Belconnen Mall
An indoor mall at Belconnen Town Centre to the north.

Canberra Centre
In the Civic area is a shopping mall with over 200 specialty shops including 'Myer" and 'David Jones' and other chains. Plenty of cafes and eateries as well. Bunda Street, CBD (02 6257 5232).

Manuka
A shopping area, in Griffith with 'boutiques' and restaurants.

Kingston
A shopping and restaurant area not far from Manuka.

Fyshwick
The place to buy appliances and is also the 'red-light' district.
